August 27th | US | Paid Promo | 7th Normani Article
- Performance + Interview:
- On the 27th, Normani drops by The Wendy Williams Show to promote her new collab single with Victoria Monet titled Do It. She also stays for an interview!
Wendy: Now, to open the show, give it up for fellow black queen Normani with her new single Do It!
The performance begins with Normani standing in a triangle formation with her two dancers. There is also one triangle formation on each side of her. Normani is wearing a bedazzled diamond crop top with simple blue jeans and heels. The performance begins with a dance number with all the dancers before someone runs onto the stage to give Normani her mic. Normani begins to sing the first verse of the song while strutting across the stage alongside her two dancers. The other dancers stay in the middle engaging in simple choreography to make use of the entire stage. She makes it to the right side of the stage where she does more small dance numbers before walking back to the middle for the chorus. Normani and her dancers then begin to dance to the chorus in the middle as the backing track is playing so Normani can focus on her dancing. She repeats this similar formation for the rest of the performance. Afterwards, Wendy walks onto the stage, gives Normani a hug and reminds the audience that Do It is out now and is on Victoria’s debut album After The Storm
the show cuts to commercial before Wendy welcomes Normani back to the stage for an interview
Normani on how Do It came to be.
Well, me and Victoria have been friends for a while now but from a musical standpoint, we were both kinda just doing our own thing. One day I get a text from Victoria telling me to meet her in the studio to do a quick recording session. It wasn’t anything super serious and we didn’t have anything planned going in, we just played around with lyrics while Steve Lacy provided us with some great beats. We ended up starting like 4-5 songs in that one session. A week or so later, we came back to finish the song and created Do It and Busy Boy! It was overall a great experience and it really helped me get closer to Vic!
Do It is out now

Victoria Monet x KIIS - FM
Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 Interview (US PAID Article)Victoria Monet drops by KIIS-FM for an interview discussing her album and the singles.
Victoria Monet on Do It
It was such a spontaneous collab. I met Normani through mutual friends and we grew close but we never had ‘make music’ on the agenda. Like we would hang out but we always kept the business or work side of things separated. However, one day I reached sort of a wall for the album and I needed new inspiration for some songs. So I called up Normani and we just messed around and ended up creating demos for a couple of songs. We later completely finished two of them that are now on the album! I’m really proud of what we made and I think it made us bond and made us closer to one another. So, don’t be surprised if we have more collabs coming haha!
Victoria on other collaborations on After The Storm
The largest other collaborator I worked with was definitely Steve Lacy. He’s such a genius when it comes to music! The first songs we made were sticky and all night and so, after that, I knew I needed him along for the ride for the rest of the album! He also helped me connect with other producers who worked alongside him for some of the other songs. On top of that, he even got me to help produce a song! I’ve never once done this before but he made it seem so easy which I think just speaks to his amazing talents! I also collabed with Tyler, The Creator which is someone else who is just a lyrical and producing genius! I really wanted all the collabs on this album to be with people I admired and I think I got that!
Do It, Sticky, and After The Storm are all out now on iTunes and Flux!

Bruno Mars on Big Boy's Neighborhood
August 25th | US | Free Radio Promo
5th article for week of August 21st
- Interview:
- Host: You’re listening to Big Boy in the morning. Alright ladies and gentlemen, we got Bruno Mars up in here!
Bruno: We are here!
Host: What’s going on brother? Pleasure to see you my man!
Bruno: As always, you too. I’m good!
Host: Look good in the hair era with that perm.
Bruno: Man, you know I had to come looking fresh for Big Boy!
Host: Aight, aight! I see you cuz! Now it’s been a MINUTE since I’ve seen you. When was the last time?
Bruno: I remember us linking at a Grammy after-party. 2016, I think.
Host: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah! I remember that now. Man was that a wild night!
Bruno: Bro, I’m still recovering from it! Everything was just crazy. If you know, you know! (laughs)
Host: But we got to talk about this man. You just gave birth to a new single, “That’s What I Like”…
Bruno: Glad you said single, cause I was over here thinking “since when I got a kid” (laughs).
Host: Soon enough bruva! (laughs) But seriously, congrats on the single. I’m a big fan of it already.
Bruno: Awh, thanks man!
Host: As soon as I heard it, I thought “instant classic”! Like no cap, this song about to be played on this station forever!
Bruno: That’s the goal! Make music that outlasts me!
Host: Aye, I respect that. Now, Bruno, you know we know the same people…
Bruno: We do…
Host: So, I may or may not have heard that you're gonna follow up this single with an album later this year?
Bruno: Man, who telling you that! (laughs) Right now, my focus is on “That’s What I Like”. It’s less than a week old. Y’all can wait for more info! (laughs)
Host: Just asking, cuz! So while I’ve already praised it to the highest heavens, tell the listeners about “That’s What I Like”. Why should they take time out of their days to listen to it?
Bruno: Okay. “That’s What I Like” was actually one of the last songs I wrote. The song is very flashy. I’m singing about stuff every guy wants. Cars, mansions, money, and you know what…
Host: Oh, I know.
Bruno: The idea came to me while just spending time with a girl. We were feeling each other hard. I was ready to do anything for her. So in actuality, the song is kinda a love song… a braggadocious one! (laughs) The song is just a feel-good song, that I think anyone can relate to. You know what I’m saying?
Host: Man, I got you! The song is a whole vibe!
Bruno: Exactly!
Host: Well, let’s play it now then. But before that, it’s been great talking to you Bruno! We gotta stay in touch!
Bruno: Man, I know! Thanks for having me, I had a great time.
Host: That was Bruno Mars, everyone! Playing now is his brand new single available everywhere. This is “That’s What I Like”!
“That’s What I Like” plays on the station.

Nicki Minaj on DasSuper Talent
August 22nd, 2020 (Tier 2, GER)
- Performance::
- Daniel Hartwitch: Now for a guest performance. Her last album, The Pinkprint, sold over 5 million copies worldwide with the help of smash hit singles ‘Anaconda,’ “Only,” & “Feelin’ Myself.” Now back for her first LIVE PERFORMANCE as a soloist since 2015, please give it up for NICKI MINAJJJJJJJJ
The beginning of Rake It Up starts to play as the lights turn on to reveal a set piece of 3 pink coloured house set-pieces. Nicki, in the same outfit from the single cover, can be seen through a large vertical window of the house in the middle as she raps along to the verse with 2 female models in the other 2 houses dancing along. As the second chorus arrives, Nicki and the models exit their houses with rakes in their hand as a flurry of seemingly prop dollar bills gently fall onto the stage. Nicki and the models begin to mimic raking the bills while shaking their ass. The second verse and final chorus consist of Nicki rapping and twerking along to the song as the models gather the bills into pink garbage bags. Nicki takes the garbage bags and begins to swing them around as she walks to the front of the stage. The song finishes and Nicki shouts Germany out as she reveals the dollar bills are not indeed fake. She opens the garbage bags and with the help of the models, they begin to disperse it among the crowd as the crowd cheers and roars.

Victoria Monet x Ellen Degeneres
Monday, August 24th Interview + Performance (Tier 2 Pre-recorded)
On the 24th, Victoria drops by The Ellen Degeneres show to discuss her debut studio album and to perform that album’s lead single!
Ellen, while holding the ATS vinyl, announces Victoria to the stage to perform her debut hit single titled ‘Sticky’. The camera slowly pans from Ellen over to the crowd as it makes its way to the screen behind that is slowly opening to show Victoria standing with a mic on a mic stand. For this performance, Victoria decides to perform an acoustic version of Sticky with a band behind her. She holds onto the mic stand and sings in one spot for the first half of the performance. She moves her hands around while she sings for emphasis. She is wearing an oversized jean jacket and baggy pants with heels for this performance. Once the first chorus finishes, she takes the mic off the stand and begins to walk around the stage slowly vibing to the music. For the bridge, she moves to the back and engages with the band before going back to the front to finish the performance while belting.
*the show cuts to commercial before Ellen welcomes Victoria back to the show for a quick interview*
Victoria on her favourite part of making a song
I would say I am the best at writing lyrics and that it comes to me easiest. But I feel like the most fun part of a song would probably be the vocal aspect. Not just in the recording booth but also humming different melodies to see the one that fits the lyrics the most or vice versa. I also didn’t feel like I was on any sort of time-crunch so I was very calm while writing the songs on the album!

Nicki Minaj on Ellen
August 24th, 2020 (Tier 2, US)
- Performance + Interview:
- Ellen: Our next guest is the most successful female rapper of the last decade, has charted over 85 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, has 3 multiplatinum albums, and has seen international success unprecedented for her genre. Here to perform her new single, Rake It Up, Nicki Minaj.
Camera cues to Nicki in long black inches, a white tank top, and a black leather skirt. Nicki begins rapping to Rake It Up as 3 dancers come out on stage behind her. Nicki makes her way to a pole that is in the center of the stage and begins spinning on it while she raps with perfect breath control. During the second verse, a spotlight shines on a prop pink Lamborghini that was at the back of the stage. The dancers all begin to gracefully mimic pushing the car from the rear as if it were stuck. Nicki hops onto the hood of the car and continues to rap until the end of the song. Lights go down and the show goes on a commercial break, coming back to Nicki's interview.
Ellen: So tell us about your single, it’s been 5 years since your last album, what made you want to release this as your comeback song?
Nicki: Well, my last album: The Pinkprint, was a very emotional album. I was going through a break-up at the time and poured my heart & soul into it. So for this album, or, this song at least, I wanted something more fun, something that would make the girls feel like they were, pardon my language, THAT bitch. *turns to audience* Did it work y’all?
*Audience cheers*
Nicki: AHAHAHHAHAH RRRRRRRRR
Ellen: Well talk to us about this cover art, I absolutely love the outfit that you got on here. Are those Nicki Minaj bills?
Nicki: Yes Ellen, it was actually designed by Marc Jacobs himself. Isn’t that ICONIC? I immediately told him how obsessed with it I was. And for the music video, which is coming soon by the way, he designed a variation of it, I don’t want to spoil too much but be on the lookout for that soon.
Ellen: Interesting. Now Nicki, there have been rumours that you’re dating Nas.
Nicki: Don’t start Ellen.
Ellen: Okay I’m not gonna say anything. Let’s just pull up the photo on the screen. Well would you look at that, Nicki. Y’all are very, very close there
Nicki: He’s just a boyyy Ellen
Ellen: Boyyy…friend?
Nicki: Fine Ellen, yes, we’re dating, damn. *rolls eyes*
Ellen: How’d you two meet? Give us the details
Nicki: Okay so listen. I was out with Meek you know for my birthday he took me to this lil island but um as you know Ellen, we got into an argument and he left me completely stranded. I hate bum [redacted]. Sorry y’all omg. But anyway, Nas like just happened to be on the same island. We got drinks, went to the beach, went back to the hotel…
Ellen: I’ll cut you off there but congratulations Nicki on finding someone who brings you happiness. And an even bigger congratulations on the release of your new single
Nicki: Aww, thank you Ellen

Interview on BBC Radio 2 (UK)
August 25th, 2020
Tier 4
Host: Here in the studio today for the first time on BBC Radio 2 we have Shawn Mendes, welcome!
Shawn: Hi how are you? Thanks for having me!
Host: Very well thank you! Everyone in the UK has loved having you on our tv screens this week so far!
Shawn: I feel like I live in the BBC studios now, can I just sleep here tonight? There’s no need for me to go home *laughs* I love spending time here in the UK, I’m actually going to visit some family over here tomorrow before I fly back to the States again.
Host: I’m sure spending time with family is a rarity these days with your packed schedule, how do you find the time to rest?
Shawn: You know usually I don’t have much time to rest at all, the past 3 months have been so fun but so intense! But when I do, this doesn’t sound like rest but I love to work out and exercise. It’s when I get out all my anxieties and frustrations. I think when this album cycle is over I’m gonna have a month long vacation on a tropical island somewhere *laughs*
Host: Your hit ‘My My My!’ has been added to the A-List on our Radio 2 playlist, and we all love it. What inspired the song?
Shawn: I’ve told this story before but I was inspired to write the song after a night out with some friends, and it happened to be at the club I met my ex girlfriend in. It brought back all the memories of when we first met, so I wanted to write about the start of a relationship.
Host: Well now playing on Radio 2, its ‘My My My!’ by Shawn Mendes!

Nicki Minaj for Variety Magazine
August 27th, 2020 (FREE, US)
- EXCERPT ON UPCOMING FEMALE RAPPERS::
I: So while you took a break the last few years since your last album we’ve seen many new and upcoming female rappers get a little bit more attention. I’m going to name some and you’re gonna give me your thoughts on them, okay?
Nicki: Sounds dope
I: Doja Cat
Nicki: I adore her. She reminds me so much of my Pink Friday eras where I was doing the pop-rap. I love how she’s not afraid to sing. Labels have always tried to tell me that I should stick to rapping but at the end of the day, I know I have the talent of a real singer so if I wanna sing, I’m gonna sing. So I love that she’s confident and in control enough to do so.
I: Megan thee Stallion
Nicki: Love her as well. We’ve shown a lot of love to each other both publicly and privately. She’s a hustler. A real hard worker, so shout out to her. We have to encourage and uplift women who write their own raps. It has to become the norm because I know we are all just as, if not more, talented than these males.
I: Cardi B
Nicki: Oh, um, hm. I think… I think that she has a very good team around her who know how to make fun & cute catchy songs. Props to her... and them.
I: City Girls
Nicki: I loveeee City Girls omg. Like me personally, I typically don’t make fun twerk bops on my albums, I have a few but the majority aren’t like that. But Caresha & JT wipe the FLOOR in that genre. P***y Talk with Doja Cat is literally my favourite song this year. Love, love, love them.

Victoria Monet x Wendy Williams
Wednesday, August 26th 2020 Interview + Performance (Tier 2 US PROMO) On the 27th, as a part of her promotional run for her debut album, Victoria Monet drops by the Wendy Williams show to perform her hit debut single Sticky and to have a quick interview discussing the making of her album.
The camera starts on Wendy who is introducing Victoria who is already standing on the stage behind her. The camera then pans away from Wendy towards Victoria as the audience is immensely roaring. Victoria waves at the audience before getting into position with her dancers. Her dancers are with her for the entirety of this performance. She begins the performance with small simple dance numbers as she holds the mic in her hand. However, for the choruses she decides on focusing on just her dancing instead of singing as well. As a result, she hands the mic to one of her dancers for the chorus so that she can dance while the backing track can play. She repeats this pattern for the rest of the performance. Wendy comes onto the stage and hugs her before reminding the audience that After The Storm is out now alongside Sticky and Do It!
*the show cuts to commercial before Wendy welcomes Victoria to the set to have a quick interview*
Victoria on her success
It’s been so confusing and shocking for me to be honest! Just now I got a call from my manager telling me that my album is expected to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200! I don’t know what I had to have done to get such good karma but I won’t complain! I’m so happy that people actually care to listen to my music and to purchase it as well! It warms my heart and motivates me to work harder to keep releasing music that I love and hopefully, my fans love as well!

Bruno Mars on The Talk
August 26th | US | Tier 3 | I+P
6th article for week of August 21st
- Interview:
- Host: He’s already a 5x Grammy-winner and 2x Super Bowl-performer, and with the release of his comeback single “That’s What I Like” the only way to go is up! Please welcome, Bruno Mars!
Bruno walks out to Uptown Funk playing.
Host: Welcome to our show Bruno!
Bruno: The pleasure is all mine!
Host: You know, I left out some accomplishments in the intro.
Bruno: Oh God…
Host: Some other note-worthy ones are, you have a whopping 6 #1s, and 12 top 10s! And as mentioned, you’re a 2x Super-Bowl performer, but your first performance there made you the fastest artist to perform at the Super-Bowl!
Bruno: Wow, I didn’t even know all of that! (laughs)
Host: You don’t keep up with your stats?
Bruno: I try not to obsess over them. Sure, I have people on my team who will tell me important accomplishments, but it’s not one of my priorities at all. I’m here for the music, all the other things are on the sidelines to me.
Host: That’s a good mindset to have. But, when you do look at all your accomplishments, do you feel the pressure to outdo yourself?
Bruno: I guess you can say so. It’s not really pressuring because I care, but because of other people. For instance, I know how the media is: If my new single doesn’t go #1 they’re going to label me a flop, make articles about my career being over, and what no. No artist wants those things said about them. Sure at the end of the day, it doesn't matter, but it can hurt. So in that sense, I am looking to outdo myself.
Host: How about outdoing yourself musically?
Bruno: Oh, there is no question about that. I am always striving to create the best music I can create. It’s the reason why I spend so much time working on my music. I’ve spent the past 2 years cultivating my artistry to get my best musical output, and now I’m ready to share that output with the world.
Host: Well, so far, you have definitely outdone yourself. “That’s What I Like” is just amazing! Already my favourite song from you!
Bruno: Thank you.
Host: While the song’s lyrics are fantastic, as always from you, I’m in love with the production the most. Were you involved in it?
Bruno: I was! I was actually heavily involved. I’ve always been fascinated by producing music, but never got the chance to really dive deep into it. The 4 years I took off gave me that chance. I learned so much from fellow producers and really enriched my own work. I’m really proud to say that I produced “That’s What I Like”.
Host: You should be proud! Now, I think all of us, including the audience, see how passionate you are about the song, and now want to hear it from you live!
Bruno: Your wish is my command! (laughs)
Host: That’s right! Stick around everyone, because when we come back, Bruno will be performing his new single “That’s What I Like” live!
- Performance:
- Host: Welcome back to The Talk. Now to perform his brand new single “That’s What I Like”, give it up for Bruno Mars!
The stage is set with gold lights. On stage is a live band, and in front of them stands Bruno Mars and 3 background singers. Bruno is wearing a 90s retro red Nike tracksuit and a white baseball cap that reads “TWIL”. When the song’s opening 3 counts begin, Bruno and the background singers move their hands in the air on beat. Standing behind a microphone stand, Bruno sings the song doing hand and leg movement to the lyrics. At the chorus, he and the singers grab the microphone off of the stand. They stand in front of their respective stands and perform a routine while singing. Moving onto the left of the stage, Bruno sings the second verse walking freely. With Bruno at the edge, the background singers arrive behind him and they perform the second chorus. As the bridge of the song approaches, the lights dim down to focus slowly on Bruno. Belting the lyrics, Bruno stands under the spotlight. Kicking back into high gear, the chorus returns. Bruno and the background singers perform another dance routine and the performance returns with Bruno holding on to the last note of the song.
Host: Such an amazing talent! Bruno Mars, everyone! Make sure to go listen to “That’s What I Like” on iTunes and Flux now!

Dua Lipa x The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon
[August 21 | Paid | US | 1/8]
[August 21 | Paid | US | 1/8]
- Performance:
- On August 21st, Dua Lipa appeared on "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" to debut her single "Don't Start Now" in an American late night show. The performance started off with Dua sitting on a chair against the audience in the middle of the main stage. She was standing on a chair and the band started playing the instrumental. They were placed in front of this metallic background to match her outfit. She got up, turned the chair 180 left and sat again while singing the first verse. She set her body free while touching her heart during the line "Did the heartbreak change me? Maybe..." She turned her head towards the camera and pointed out the place she's in, showing everyone where she ended up. She moved her body like waves while singing the first pre chorus. As all the lights turned towards her, the colors on the screen started changing and Dua did a brand new routine with the chair. As she was done with it, she started walking towards the camera while doing the hand movements to match the lyrical content of the song. "Come on everybody sing it!" she said through the mic to the audience, encouraging them to sing the second pre chorus for her. After they sang along to the lyrics, she started doing the actual routine for the song throughout the second chorus. You could see how she has evolved as a dancer since her previous era. She continued hyping the viewers and they started clapping on beat while she was hitting high notes during the bridge part of the track. Then, it was time for her to hit the moves from the routine one more time while the camera was also showing the audience members screaming in excitement. All the lights went down except one spotlight which was held on her after the performance was over. She squeezed Jimmy so tight when he walked out to the stage like she did after her first ever US late night debut on this show years ago.
"Don't Start Now", available now for a discounted price.

Dua Lipa x WNOW 92.3 Now
[August 22 | 1st Free Radio | 2/8]
[August 22 | 1st Free Radio | 2/8]
- Interview:

"It's honoring of course. I mean after a whole 180 i did with nearly everything about me, i was a little scared about coming back. I thought people wouldn't get it but yeah- I guess they're embracing it as much as i do and supporting my new single so much lately. Thankful for everything."
"And you...like...revamped yourself or something. Like everything about this new era or stuff has looked so different so far. Like what is the meaning behind that hairstyle you have on right now?"

Dua Lipa x Genius Verified
[August 23 | Paid Internet Promo | US | 3/8]
[August 23 | Paid Internet Promo | US | 3/8]
- Interview:
- On August 23rd, Genius published a video on their official YouTube channel of Dua Lipa explaining the lyrics of her newest single, "Don't Start Now".
*intro plays*
"Last couple of years were mentally challanging for me. I had so many downs along with ups when it came to relationships. Especially the one i wrote this song about was...a down moment too. *laughs* This song is about me being angry over my ex still trying to get me back by showing up where i am for example. He can be considered as "obsessed"."
[Intro]
If you don't wanna see me
[Verse 1]
Did a full 180, crazy
Thinking 'bout the way I was
Did the heartbreak change me? Maybe
But look at where I ended up
"This relationship we had was so messy that it made my brain turn upside down literally. It's crazy to see how i ended up at this position in my life after that one crazy heartbreak experience. And well, i guess it changed me. In a good way of course."
I'm all good already
So moved on, it's scary
I'm not where you left me at all, so
"I'm not in the place you left me, i moved on and was able to do better in my life after you. I'm all okay now."
[Pre-Chorus]
If you don't wanna see me dancing with somebody
If you wanna believe that anything could stop me
[Chorus]
Don't show up, don't come out
Don't start caring about me now
Walk away, you know how
Don't start caring about me now
"Like i previously said, wasn't our relationship over? Why do you still care about me or my actions? No need to be jealous at all. Stop caring about me, move on already. It's quite easy even though it might take some time to accept it."
[Verse 2]
Aren't you the guy who tried to
Hurt me with the word "goodbye"?
Though it took some time to survive you
I'm better on the other side
I'm all good already
So moved on, it's scary
I'm not where you left me at all, so
"He was the one who decided to end our relationship, not me. Weren't you the one who did it? Weren't you the one who ended this? Too bad, i ended up being okay and feeling better without you even though it took some time. Again, i'm on better side and moved on. You should try the same!"
"That was it you guys. Thanks for having me today Genius. All of you can buy or stream my new single "Don't Start Now" on all streaming platforms. Hope you like it. Love you all, bye!"

[August 24 | Paid | US | 4/8]
- Interview:
- On August 24th, Dua Lipa appeared on Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about the making of "Don't Start Now", its music video and having a crazy week. "She's a 2 times Grammy winning pop singer, please give it up for Dua Lipa."
*DSN played, they greeted each other*
"Thank you so much for having me tonight Stephen. It's a pleasure being here."
"It's a pleasure having you here. How have you been since last month?"
"Same. Same anxious, same excited, same happy. There are so many complicated feelings going in me at this very moment cause...you know...i have a lot going on at the moment."
"We can definitely tell. You're too busy."
"I really am. Especially nowadays. I've been here in the US promoting the song. I have a new video out. I'm working on some surprises and stuff. It's been really crazy this week."
"Tell us about your new song. What is that about?"
"It's just a cute song where i tell my ex to not show up if he doesn't want to see me anymore which he actually doesn't even though our relationship is over but he still thinks it's happening. A little angry song with an upbeat production that you might like once you give it a listen."
"Congratulations on the new video also. You dropped it last Friday. What made you come up with this kind of a visual?"
"Me wanting it to kind of go with the lyrical content of the track, of course. The looks, the interiors and stuff. Me and Nabil (the director) wanted to mix futuristic and nostalgic elements for this video which is what this whole era is going to be about. Hoping that we did a great job and you guys liked it."

Dua Lipa x Good Morning America
[August 25 | Paid | New York, US | 5/8]
[August 25 | Paid | New York, US | 5/8]
- Performance:
- On August 25th, Dua Lipa appeared on Good Morning America to perform her single "Don't Start Now". The camera slightly turned right to show the stage after the hosts introduced the pop singer. She and the band behind her were all wearing nostalgic-themed matching outfits. Dua was standing opposite of the camera. After she counted down to 1 with her fingers up, you could see the band starting to play the instrumental of the single. Of course she started her performance with doing a full 180 and turning towards the camera. She could be seen singing the first verse while moving her hips side to side on beat. The camera zoomed into her and she pretended like she was talking to her ex while singing the pre-chorus. She sang the first chorus in a mad attitude. She took some of her time by going towards the window and waving her hands to the fans watching the live performance from the outside. After having a fan interaction moment with them while singing the second verse, she sang the pre-chorus again and did the routine for the song in a "calm-er" way during the second chorus. She encouraged the audience to clap along with her during the breakdown part and she had some fun interaction with band members as well. You could see her hitting the high notes while the audience members and hosts getting up from their seats and enjoying the performance even more. She did the end bit of the full routine of the song during the final part of the performance. She ended the performance with a fierce pose.

Dua Lipa x Late Night with Seth Meyers

[August 25 | Paid | New York, US | 6/8]
- Interview:
- On August 25th, Dua Lipa appeared on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" to talk about the creative process of her new single "Don't Start Now", changing herself entirely for the new era and the album. "We have the beautiful and talented Dua Lipa in the house today. What's good girl, we really missed you."
"Thank you so much for having me and well, i'm back as you can see!"
"You finally came back with a banger. I would love to get into this track more. Tell us how was Don't Start Now created?"
"It's a song that is so special to me. I wrote this with a couple of my writer friends along with the producer of this song, Ian Kirkpatrick. The melody was created like...nearly a year ago actually. But it needed a rework according to him so he continued working on it while we were improving the lyrical content. I think it shaped up to be a great pop record. Hope you guys liked it!"
"It's great! It's pretty clear to see you changing your direction lyrically and sonically. What made you do that?"
"I love "changes" and i didn't want to come up with same stuff again. I didn't want to change the theme of the album only but you could see my hairstyle or my fashion or my lyrical content or my productions or the aesthetics i'm going for more different than what you saw previous time. This time, i'm taking things a little more seriously and i honestly think that my upcoming songs and the album will prove what i just told you all so...let's all wait till it arrives. Hope you like it when it's out."

Dua Lipa x The Wendy Williams Show

[August 26 | Paid | US | 7/8]
- Interview:
- On August 26th, Dua Lipa appeared on The Wendy Williams Show to talk about her single "Don't Start Now", working on herself and taking criticism well. "We have Dua Lipa in our show today. How you doin'?"
"I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. How are you?"
"I'm quite shocked that you visited us. Even after the things i said about you."
"If i cared about it, i wouldn't be here. I saw so many people tweeting about me calling my name wrong. If i was offended by that, you would have already gotten your response for me but as you can see by my mood and the way i talk right now, but i wasn't and i'm not still. I thought it was funny."
"Nice to see you thinking this way. You have this new song which we all love it here...don't we? *audience applauds* Tell us about it."
"Don't Start Now is a song that i wanted to drop as the lead single off my upcoming record. It came out as the lead cause it just sounds perfect as the era starter, you know what i mean? It's a great song for you to jam to this entire summer. Hope you guys like it."
"It's getting good reactions too but not only that, your performance on Jimmy Fallon was... good. I gotta give it to you for that. Cause you know you went from this *that well-known One Kiss performance plays* to this *Jimmy Fallon performance plays*"
"*laughs* I don't know why but you know what- I had a feeling that you were going to play that clip. I just knew it. About the performances, i of course didn't just sleep all day when i was on my hiatus. I took lessons from things and tried to better myself at things such as "dancing" as you can see. Hope y'all liked the performance!"

Dua Lipa x The Today Show
[August 27 | Paid | US | 8/8]
[August 27 | Paid | US | 8/8]
- Interview:
- On August 27th, Dua Lipa appeared on The Today Show to talk about her new single "Don't Start Now", being busy and the upcoming second album. "She hit us with new rules three years ago and she hasn't left us ever since. After collecting many records and awards including two Grammy awards, she's back at it again. Dua Lipa in the house today everyone! Let's bring her up."
*Don't Start Now plays as she enters the stage*
"Thank you guys for having me."
"Thanks for coming Dua. How are you doing? You're back again!"
"Yeah i am! I have many things going on now... Working on an album, trying to visit places to spread the word that i have a new song out, still trying to create a balance for my personal life etc. I have been putting hard work to this so i hope it all pays off. The first piece is out."
"You guys heard that right. She just released the lead single off her upcoming sophomore album! Tell us about the song."
"Okay so this is first track you got from this new album i'm releasing soon. It's called "Don't Start Now" for those who don't know. It's a song me and a couple writer friends of mine wrote based on this...weird situation happened to me. Once you hear it, you will get what i mean. It has this bouncy production that can make you dance even though the lyrical content of it is quite sad. Well, to me at least *giggles* But yeah, it was great working on it and i thought that it would the best way to introduce you guys to this brand new era. Hope you like it."
"So the first track is out and since you have been mentioning how much you want to drop this album, does it mean we're so close to the release? Or what? What's happening with it?"
"Actually the thing is, i kinda don't want to talk about the album yet. There are so many things going on that are just not certain at all if you know what i mean by that. It has been quite a struggle to complete this record cause i started working on it back when i was still with my previous record label. Things got messed up, delays happened and blah blah blah. Just want everyone to know that i'm trying my best to find the perfect time to drop this entire project."

Bruno Mars on Conan
August 27th | US | Free Promo
7th article for week of August 21st
- Performance:
- Host: Here to perform his brand new single “That’s What I Like”... it’s Bruno Mars!
The camera slides over to the performance stage. Right away, the song begins to play. Bruno starts off by jumping on beat to the opening 3 counts of the song, then begins to sing. Bruno is wearing an in-ear microphone, to allow free movement of his body. Throughout the first verse, he dances out the actions/objects of the lyrics he is singing. The chorus arrives and as Bruno continues to sing, he does a more organized slick dance routine. Walking to the right of the stage, he continues to sing the second verse of the song. As the second chorus kicks in, he stops walking and goes back to dancing the routine from the first chorus. Walking back to the middle of the stage, Bruno sings the bridge of the song. He focuses on hitting every note of the bridge as he walks. Ending the bridge, Bruno holds onto the final note of it for an extra 10 seconds, going into the chorus. Bruno takes a short vocal pause, before jumping into the final chorus. He goes off in the dance routine, while still serving impressive vocals. The performance ends and the camera flips back to Conan at his desk.
Host: Another round of applause for Bruno Mars! Make sure to check out “That’s What I Like”, available everywhere now!

Interview + Performance on Lorraine (UK)
August 26th, 2020
Tier 3
Lorraine: Our guest today has become an international super star with his hit ‘MY MY MY!’, and here to talk to us now it’s Shawn Mendes!
Shawn: Hi Lorraine thanks for having me!
Lorraine: We’re excited to have you here! When word of you being on the show got out, my twitter mentions were on fire! How does it feel now that you have millions of fans supporting you?
Shawn: Well before I released my debut single I had fans that knew me from my YouTube videos and Tik Tok, but never as many as there are now. I love seeing the OG fans still there, as well as all of the new ones. I hope our fan base keeps growing as I release more music!
Lorraine: Well they are definitely dedicated I’ll tell you that! Since you’ve spent so much time here in the UK recently, are there any British artists you’ve been loving or want to collab with?
Shawn: Of course I love Dua Lipa! Don’t Start Now is such a hit, it’s definitely one of my favourite pop songs of the year. She’d be fun to work with.
Lorraine: I love that song too. She is so talented, much like yourself!
Shawn: Oh thank you! I have a few collabs on the album, but my fans will have to wait to find out who.
Lorraine: Before we let you go and perform we have to ask when the next single is coming!
Shawn: September 25th, mark your calendars! I can’t wait.
…
Lorraine: Closing the show for us with his hit ‘MY MY MY!’, Shawn Mendes!
The camera pans to Shawn and he is sat on a stool, he begins by singing a slowed and reverbed version of the song and the lights are dimly lit. Half way through the song he bursts into the normal upbeat version and the stage is fully illuminated again.

Dagny - Let Me Cry | Paid Promo Tier 2 (Eu)
August 21, 2020 | The Voice France Performance
Dagny is wearing a silver sequined jumpsuit with silver heels. The camera shows a close up of the guitar player playing the opening cords. When the lyrics start she struts out from center stage. She stands in the middle of the stage for the first verse. Up until now the screens and stage had been a light pink color. For the chorus the screens explode as cute graphics of water and umbrellas float across the screen behind her. As the second verse starts the screens go back to the plain light pink. The camera tilts downward a little as she takes a step forward and you see water splashes under her foot on the screen of the stage. She takes a few more steps and the water splashes are there too. For the second chorus she goes up to the coaches and points at them while she’s singing and makes questioning faces as if she’s asking them if they would let her cry. She goes back to the main stage to end the song and the host comes out to remind everyone to buy and stream Let Me Cry.

Dagny - Let Me Cry | Paid Promo Tier 4 (Eu)
August 22, 2020 | MNM Radio Interview
Host: We have an amazing guest in the studio with us today. The Let Me Cry songstress herself, Dagny!
Dagny: Hi! So great to be here! You have such a lovely studio.
Host: Oh thank you! What have you been up to lately.
Dagny: I’ve been traveling the world, trying to sightsee as much as possible and working on my album!
Host: Yeah I imagine it would be hard going to all these places but not being able to see it all.
Dagny: It’s difficult but I try really hard to visit at least one place every time I’m somewhere I’ve never gone and it’s worked out in most places so far.
Host: That’s great for you. Now let’s get into what you mentioned earlier that everyone wants to know about, the album!
Dagny: It’s in progress! I have about half of the songs done right now but the rest of them are no where close so it’ll still be a while unfortunately.
Host: That’s too bad! What sound are you going for? Is it all going to sound like Let Me Cry or is that kind of a one off?
Dagny: There’s definitely some stuff that’s sonically similar time Let Me Cry on there. But there’s also some more outside the box stuff.
Host: What artists have you been pulling inspirations from?
Dagny: I’ve been pulling from a lot of 70s and 80s music. I love Fleetwood Mac and the kind of slick dance sound they were able to give to their rock music so I’ve been trying to recreate that a bit and do you know the song More More More?
Host: That’s the one by the you know what star right?
Dagny: Yes! *laughs* I’m glad you know it most people don’t. I love that song and I’m trying to create the vibe of that chorus on one of my own songs.
Host: Well, if that’s what we have to look forward to I am super excited!
Dagny: I’m glad!
Host: Unfortunately that’s all the time we have for today. Thank you so much for stopping by! Now here’s Dagny with Let Me Cry on MNM Radio!
