Ava Max X The Talk
MON | July 13th | PAID US I+P
MON | July 13th | PAID US I+P
on July 13th Ava Max went onto The Talk to talk about and perform her hit single "Sweet But Psycho"
on the success of the song
it's so surreal till now like I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it, and I'm very grateful for my fans for this when we made the single we knew it was special but now that it happened it's still like a shocker you know, 'cause you don't expect a pop song so do so good especially in a rap climate, I'm very grateful and humble and I can't stop thanking my fans for it I know you guys are watching I love you
on the music video
well we wanted it to be very exaggerated that's the first thing I told the director of the video Jonas, who made the telephone music video, I wanted it to have a deeper meaning since the song is talking about a girl who is being gaslighted in the relationship and thinks she's a psycho but she actually isn't one, so the video is very like overexaggerated for a reason, and I think we nailed it pretty well
on her new labelmate
you know having gaga is gonna be interesting cause I see her as one of my inspirations, and I love her to death, I have yet to meet her but I heard she is very kind and down to earth so I'm excited to meet her or talk to her on the phone maybe
performance:
Ava is wearing the same black look from the music video the black latex look with the scarf around her head and the black sunglasses, she has 4 dancers around her, the song starts and she starts to sing and move around, she emphasizes a lot of words in this performance unlike the rest of the performances, the chorus comes in and she starts to dance around with her dancers in sync as the crowd screams and claps, the performance ends and the hosts remind everybody watching to pick up her hit debut single "Sweet But Psycho" out everywhere and avaliable for streaming on flux

July 10 | US | Paid Promo | 2nd Normani Article
- Interview + Performance:
- J: Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause for our next guest. Please welcome Normani
N: Oh my god, I am so happy to be hear. You know I have wanted to sit in this chair for forever. I mean have been here with Fifth Harmony before but we never got to sit down and chat with you. All we did was perform. You are by far my favorite talk show host and to be honest, I am kinda nervous about finally chatting with you
J: Really? Is that what you tell all talk show hosts?
N: No...just you, Trevor Noah and Conan O'Brien
J: I will take being top 3
N: Well it is not like you have a choice
J: *laughs*...Anyways I was told you have an announcement to make before you take the stage to perform your track "Link Up"
N: Oh yeah I do. I am officially announcing that I have become the temporary face of Raffaello & Co.
J: Can you explain it for all those who do not know what is?
N: Well the face of a com-
J: No, no I meant what the company is, not what the face of a company does
N: Oh Raffaello are a luxury jewelry company based in New York and they are the absolute best
J: How did they come to choose you
N: Well it all started when I shouted them out on my song Link Up and then my team heard they were looking for a celebrity and once we got in contact with them they were so enthusiastic about the partnership
Performance
The performance short and sleek. It begins with smoke filling the dark stage and a remixed and chopped up version of the first half of Link Up playing. Then Normani steps out of the smoke in a very revealing outfit and the instrumental of the second half of the song starts to play. Normani busts out some sexy and suggestive dance moves while singing the tune.

July 11 | US | Paid Promo | 3rd Normani Article
- Video:
- Elders break down the lyrics to Normani's "Link Up"
H: So for this video we are going to have you read a selection of lyrics from a particular hit song and decipher its meaning without knowing the title of the song or the artist. After that we are going to have you listen to the song
1: That sounds fun. You guys always make us listen to the weirdest things
Bad bitches link up, link up / I just pulled up in a Brink's truck
Hunnid thousand dollars, cuban link up, yeah / All this drip on me, I fuck the sink up
2: Oh my good, these profanities. It just feels like the younger generation is getting more and more vulgar. If someone had made this song in my day they never would have been allowed to release it, let alone have it become a hit
3: Well it seems like this person is pretty important or thinks they are pretty important if they have to drive around in a Brink's truck and they must be pretty rich to be bragging about a hundred thousand dollars but I do not quite understand what that all has to do with dripping and sinks
Call me Mani, Houdini, doing tricks with a saw / For my next act, watch-watch me cut these bitches off
4: Oh a Houdini shout out, I used to love Houdini as a child and read all his books and watched all the movies about him but I would not expect people to still be talking about him today
1: Everyone knows Houdini and his world famous sawing people in half tricks, so this singer or what i assume is a rapper is crafting a clever line by basically saying she is cutting people out of her life the same way Houdini cut people in half
Take a trip, let him book it for me / G-gps your nigga if you're looking for me
2: The n-word? Really? In 2020?
3: Oh god...if I understand this correctly the singer is taunting some woman and telling her that if she is looking for her, she should find the location of her man because they are having an affair
*they listen to a snippet of the song*
1: This is definitely not something I would listen to on my own but I actually like the beat
3: My first instinct is to talk about how music has become so bad since the good old days but then I remember that is exactly what my parents used to say about the music I used to love and still love. Music just evolves and tastes change. I would not listen to this...ever but I can see why young kids like it
2: *takes off headphones and leaves*
4: I am surprisingly not ashamed to say that I can see myself jamming to this. Let me write this song down and surprise my grandchildren with my knowledge of modern songs. Well one modern song

July 11 | US | Free Promo | 4th Normani Article
- Performance:
- Normani struts onto the stage dressed in all pink with a white fur coat draped over her shoulders and a tiny dog by the leash, while obnoxiously chewing gum. Suddenly the instrumental for Link Up begins to play and a girl rushes onto the stage to take the tiny dog away. Then Normani drops her fur coat to the ground and begins to sing while doing a few cute accompanying dance moves. Then after the second chorus the instrumental stops and Normani stands still, completely frozen. Then a sexy male dancer dressed in only his underwear walks onto the stage, up to Normani and plants a soft kiss on her lips. She unfreezes and the instrumental of the second half of the song begins to play. The two engage in an intimate and slightly erotic pair dance. Their chemistry while dancing together is off the charts as Normani sings the rest of the song.

July 13 | US | Paid Promo | 5th Normani Article
- Performance + Interview:
- J: Normani, I am so glad to i finally have you on our show outside of you know, Fifth Harmony.
N: I am happy you guys finally invited me here
J: Well before we could not really have you appear here as you had nothing to promote but luckily now you do
N: Yeah, my lead single is finally out
J: I am sure this is something you have dreamt of your whole life
N: It definitely is. I mean when I entered the X-Factor contest all those years ago I was hoping to become a solo singer and planning to do all this on my own but then life said no and I ended up in Fifth Harmony but I would not have it any other way. My time there really taught me so much about life and it is the reason why I can so confidently step into my solo career and just do my thing
J: Speaking of confidence, on Link Up you really show your confident and boastful and braggadocios side. Are you always like that in real life
N: You know what, I would be lying if I said it was all just a persona because I do be feeling myself like that sometimes but like any other person I do not act only one certain way and while sometimes my fierce and no-f*cks given side likes to come out, I am also sometimes shy or unsure of myself. I get self-conscious and all different types of sad...but of course I did not make this song to linger about all that.
J: I can very much tell
Performance
Normani stands at the center of the stage in front of a mic stand while the instrumental for Link Up plays. She sings the tracks while making hand and body movements that fit the lyrics. She does this for both parts of the song

July 15 | US | Free Promo | 6th Normani Article
- Interview:
- I: Today we are welcoming a native superstar. Born right here in New Orleans, Louisiana it is our very own Normani Kordei...even though I think she dropped the Kordei
N: I did drop it from my stage name but you are very welcome to call me add the Kordei. I love my family name
I: Oh, then why did you even decide to drop it?
N: I have been told all great artists are mononymous. I do not know if that is true or will have an effect on my career but it is what is
I: Tell me, how is it to be back home?
N: It feels amazing, even if it is partly for work. The thing is I have not been back here in a few months so there are lots of people I had not seen in a while. So many actually that I probably will not manage to pay them all a visit.
I: I am sure it is nice seeing everyone again but it must be exhausting since literally everyone from your hometown probably wants you to stop by
N: It is but as I said, they ain't all getting a visit. I arrived here late Monday night and spent the whole of yesterday at my parents house just relaxing and taking a day off and then today I have one more radio interview and tomorrow I have one and then I will spend a day or two more here before I fly back out
I: Working even when you are on a mini-vacation. It seems all your hard work is paying off though as Link Up is shaping up to be quite the big hit
N: I hope so

- Interview:
- *Link Up plays*
I: That was Link Up ladies and gents, sang by New Orleans native Normani who is actually, surprise, here in the booth with us today
N: Hey
I: How are you doing
N: I am feeling great. It just feels so f*cking good to be back home
I: I can imagine...speaking of home, I know that you are a New Orleans native but I have also heard people say you are from Houston, Texas like Beyoncé
N: Oh that is because my family had to move to Texas when I was a little girl, like 7 or 8 years old, after Hurricane Katrina came and devastated our entire neighborhood and the whole state
I: Do you have a city you prefer more?
N: Do you expect me to say Texas on a New Orleans radio station?
I: Well you have a point
N: I love both cities equally for different reasons. I mean I spent most of my late childhood and teenage years in Houston so I had most of the experiences that shaped me as a person there. You know things like my first kiss, made and lost lots of friends and just generally learned about life living there...but New Orleans will always be my home. This is where I am from and where my entire family is at and so naturally I can not do anything but love this city. And the culture is lit. The food, the music, everything here is so amazing. Just on the way here I must have seen like 4 street artists doing their thing. It is really inspiring to be honest

Rarity calls KISS 102.3 FM
Free Promo / US / 1/8
13th of July
On 13th of July, Rarity called KISS 102.3 FM, a radio station in Albany, New York.
On Debut album and Debut Single "Downhill from Here"
My debut album is really special to me because i keep constantly adding in to it. I am not done, yet. But i am trying my best to make it perfect. As of "Downhill From Here", that track has been in the files since forever! Constantly modified to be better and to the finale version you hear today. I love the track, it has been favorite and probably the standout out of the bunch. Its really my favorite!
On Pop girls dominating the charts
We are amazing!! Supremely proud of us. I think it is us, the pop girls time to dominate. I think it proves our presence in the music industry. And i am so happy that we are finally getting the recognition we deserve! We work our asses off and its the payout that matters, which is this!
On going top 3
I was sobbing when i saw the announcement of the chart positions. As i said, i dont care about the charts just really happy that im getting recognition because i never thought i'd do get anywhere honestly. I didn't believe in myself. I just had faith in god and in my music and just pushed it in the water i guess. But yeah, i am really grateful for the fans.

- Interview:
- I: How has New Orleans been treating you so far?
N: It has been good and real refreshing
I: I guess you could say its kind of a small vacation for you as you are otherwise so busy promoting your new single Link Up
N: Well I am even doing it right now so I would not really call it a vacation... and honestly even if I were on a proper vacation I would most likely still be doing some type of "work". Like I can never not think about music. Like on Tuesday I just wanted to relax with my family and before I even knew what happened I was sending Ty-Ron 50 memos singing over a beat his team sent me the other day
I: Who is Ty-Ron
N: Oh my god, LaToya is going to kill me. I was probably not supposed to say that but it is too late now. Ty-Ron is Buddha Bless, I am sure you know him. He has produced for countless artists. Anyways I hope my fans do not get too hyped because that song is still in its early stages and knowing my indecisive ass it could get scrapped at any minute
I: Speaking of new music, I am interested in as to what direction you are going to take your album. Is it going to all be in the vein of Link Up?
N: Well I am fairly far along in the process with this album so I can positively say that we are trying to achieve a cohesive sound but I also want to add lots of variety and tap into lots of different sounds. Most of the songs we have so far fit alongside Link Up but none sound like it. I mean why would I make the same song twice?

Rarity visited Star 102.5 FM
Free Promo / US / 2/8
13th of July
On 13th of July, Rarity visited Star 102.5 FM, a radio station in Buffalo, New York
On Chart Positions
I am so happy. I dont do this for charts but the fact that it just sky rocketed to the top 3 is amazing. It means that people are listening to my music and are liking it and i hope this goes on forever because releasing music is really terrifying to me. And its a whole new adventure. This is not modeling, where you just stand and have your photo taken. This is something bigger, if you know what i mean. But yeah, overall im really happy with whatever is happening. I love my fans, they are hard at work. I seen the photos and the hard work. They are buying COPIES of the track its insane!!
On Music Video & Future Collabs
I think the announcement is coming today. But there is a huge announcement that i cannot share regarding the music video. I think its a really cool thing. You'll see when its out. its really good! We have been shooting it for a while now, and im ready for it o be out. About collabs, we got a few lined up honestly. One that is coming really soon actually and im really excited for everyone to listen to it. Its more like a remix, i dont really wanna spoil much. But you'll see i promise its worth the wait!!

Rarity visits The Wendy Williams Show
Paid Promo / US /3/8
14th of July
Interview
On Downhill From Here
The support is amazing. This song took me a whole year, and i would always go back and fix it and edit and do this and that. It was really something not easy to achieve but you best believe i made it work. It wasn't this easy back then. But i am glad at the end of the day i picked this version because the other ones would have unrelatable lyrics, lyrics that are missing. Lyrics that speak about another thing. It was just a mess combined in one. I have said i'd release alternative versions, but i dont think i will because i went back and visited some older versions and i just dont like it as much as i do like this one. If you know what i mean.
On Downhill From From Music Video AND Downhill From Here Remix
The music video is finished! I am so happy to finally release this weekend. And if you haven't noticed, yet. It is featuring BLACKPINK. They sounded so naturally on the track and they loved it, i loved it. The track is insanely their style so we adored it and discussed it for a while. I think its really nice that i am doing this with my label mates, its a power sign of Hammerscope.
On Debut Album
The debut album is not done. Hopefully soon though. I am still working on it daily and trying my best to make it as perfect as i want. I just want people to know that i am passionate about this and that i am 100% devoted and trying my best.
Performance
The stage was set with a huge crystal ball in the middle. The lights were red, and she was wearing a huge dress that exceeds to the floor. The spotlight hits her for the first verse where she does hands gesture and sings the chorus. For the second part of the verse she shifts her body to the left and bends while singing to the dancer. The dancers did a routine and Rarity followed along for the choruses. Rarity was slacking a bit, from how overworked she was but she still managed to do a good job. For the Bridge, they clapped all at once and Rarity told everyone in the audience to clap as it created a echo and was interactive from the artist to the viewers which grantees a good time. For the final chorus, confetti came from the roof and Rarity was performing. This was planned by The Wendy Williams show as a congratulations to her success and hard work
The support is amazing.

Camila Cabello on NRJ Hits
July 16th | FR (EU) | Tier 4
7th article for week of July 10th
- Interview:
- This morning (July 16th), Camila Cabello kicked off her mainland Europe promotional campaign for her debut single “She Loves Control”, stopping by Paris’ NRJ Hits for an interview.
On the success of “She Loves Control” thus far:
“You know, I haven’t really been checking the charts lately. Don’t get me wrong, I would love for ‘She Loves Control’ to be as big as possible, but I’m fine if it just has moderate success. I don’t make music for the charts. I make music because it is truly my passion. I love pulling all-nighters in the studio, drinking endless amounts of coffee, and laughing at the most random of things with my studio personnel. And while the charts can tell you how much the general public is enjoying your music, and it really is amazing when they love it, I care more for my fans than anything. Seeing my fans tweet me how much they love ‘She Loves Control’ or how it’s inspiring them, means more than anything to me. So yeah, while being #1 or top 10 or top 40 is something amazing, it’s not my top priority.”
On being in France:
“Je suis contente! (laughs) But seriously, I’m so happy to be here in France, even if it’s only for two days. French culture is just so beautiful and rich in history. The cities are amazing, but even better is the French countryside. It’s stunning! I once vacationed there, and wow, was that the best vacation of my life! I’m kicking myself, and my manager, (laughs) that I can’t visit there this time. But hopefully the next time I come here, I get the chance to. And who knows, maybe the next time I come here will be for my tour! (laughs) Let shut up before I say too much!”
On Hailee Steinfield’s ‘Passion’ album release party:
“Oh my god, I had the best time ever there! First of all, the album is just amazing! Hailee really gave it her all! My favourite track is definitely ‘Sue Me’. But back to the party, it was so much fun. So many people were there! Shawn Mendes, Miley Cyrus, Ava Max, basically anyone who is anyone! Also, Hailee was such a sweet host, made my introverted shy self feel so welcomed! And her manager, Jonny Braun, boy is he something! (laughs) The first thing he did to me when we met was trying to convince me to sign with him! (laughs) He was complimenting ‘She Loves Control’ and my artistry. Loved the kind words, but I’m more than happy with my current team!” @jonnyy
Following the interview, the radio host thanked Camila for taking time out of her busy schedule and stopping by for an interview. The listening audience was reminded that “She Loves Control” is out now, and the radio host played it on the station.

Camila Cabello on Balance ton post !
July 16th | FR (EU) | Free Promo
8th article for week of July 10th
- Performance:
- Host: Here to perform her debut single “She Loves Control”... Camila Cabello!
The camera starts on a plain white screen as the song’s opening instrumental plays. Slowly, the camera begins to pan to the left. Eventually, the camera lands on a close-up of Camila Cabello. Her eyes are shut and she rolls her head. Moments later, she opens her eyes and begins to sing the first verse of the song. As she sings, the previously white screen behind her turns yellow. Once the chorus hits, the camera zooms out as Camila begins to dance while singing. Her outfit is all black, with leather boot heels and ripped jeans. Moving into the second verse, slowly background dancers walk on stage as Camila walks around singing. At the second chorus, the dancers and Camila begin to perform a dance routine, as Camila keeps singing. This dance routine gets intensified at the instrumental breakdown of the song, where Camila drops her microphone and gives the choreography her all. Ending the performance with energy, Camila steps forward to sing the final chorus and hit the high notes as the dancers dance behind her. Once the song’s instrumental fades away, Camila bows and has a massive smile on her face as the camera goes back to the host standing amongst the clapping audience.
Host: A big round of applause for Camila Cabello everyone! Make sure to go and listen to “She Loves Control” out everywhere now!

It is the first song I have dropped from my upcoming fourth studio album. I like to think of it as not so much of an artsy song, but rather something you would blast with your friends while in your car or at a pool party. It is a very energetic song that kind of gives the feel of continuity and, sorry for being redundant, nonstop. It is just a very boppy song that I think you can not help but vibe to whenever it comes on. I wanted it to be the first single precisely because of how it makes people feel. Before releasing it, everyone I showed it to loved it instantly. So I eventually realized it was probably my best choice in terms of introducing this new era and sound for me.
On his controversial Plead The Fifth game on WWHL
You know what, I got asked a few questions and answered them honestly and pretty politely in my opinion. If it offended anyone, then too bad. I did not lie about a thing nor was I ever disrespectful. So why would I apologize? The internet is kinda crazy these days.
On the pop ressurgence on the charts
I think the charts are just a reflection of what the public mostly enjoys at a certain point in time, and this pop ressurgence we are seeing responds to pop singers stepping it up and the audience liking what they're doing more than they used to. I think that each genre goes through phases and that's completely normal and even healthy for the industry.

It is my newest song, and honestly, one of my most fun songs to perform live and to play for other people. The reactions are always so amazing. I have always felt really supported not only by my fans but by the general audiences but this time around the response has been particularly overwhelming. I heard the song did some crazy numbers on its first week. I always say the charts do not really matter, but if we are being honest, they for sure are rewarding, in a way. I am very thankful to be able to make the music that I like and for it to be received so well. This song is the prime example of that.
On Camila Cabello responding to his WWHL comments
Someone showed me the tweet and I really was surprised to see she took it like that. I did not say anything bad about the girl, in fact I had nothing but good words for her. But you know how them latina girls be like... They have character! It saddens me that Camila took it like that. Hopefully we can talk about it sometime. Preferrably in english! *laughs*
On his plans for the summer
At the moment I am very focused on working, promoting the song and gearing up to release my fourth album. So it is going to be a very busy one for sure!
Nonstop is out now everywhere.

It is the lead single from my next album. I wanted a song that I could just turn on whenever knowing it would instantly boost my mood. And not only that, I wanted it to be able to do the same for other people. It originally was going to be scrapped but several people told me I needed to finish it. And once I did, I knew it had to be on the album. The more I played it the clearer it was that it had to be the first single. It is just such a fun song to listen to, to dance to, to perform. I am very happy that it is out and that we went with it for the first release from the record.
On his upcoming fourth studio album
It is coming later this year and it is going to be amazing. It really is my best record in all areas. I think the key behind it is that I really just let go of any expectations and everyone's opinion of what I should do. It is me in album form.
On his plans for this era
You can expect the whole package. We are working day to day, but also starting to prepare some dope stuff for the future and for next year. It is really going to be a ride.
Nonstop is out now everywhere.

It is my first single in like 5 years, so it has been a long time coming. And what better way to come back than with such an energetic, in-your-face song. It is really a perfect depiction not only of my album but of where I am artistically, sonically and personally. I have released so many singles and yet none has ever felt like this. I do not know why, but I just feel different this time. I feel more excited than I have ever felt for a song and a record. And the response to it has been incredible. So it really is an incredible time for me and I can not say thank you enough to everyone who is supporting me and listening to the song and saying how much they love it.
On the Nonstop music video
It is coming, I promise! I keep getting asked about it and I swear we have it on the way. Just be a little more patient, everything comes in due time.
On his upcoming fourth studio album
I have said this before but I can not stress how excited I am for it enough. It is really a great album, the type of music I would have on my library if it was released by someone else. It is coming really, really soon so stay tuned for that. But for now, no details can be shared! Sorry!
Nonstop is out now everywhere.

Victoria Monet x Genius
Sticky is about confusion more than anything else. It’s about being stuck to this person but you can’t tell if it is because you love them or because you fear being lonely. It was a song I wrote rather quickly right before my recording session! I had a song ready but I decided last minute I had a much better idea and Sticky was born!
What did you do?
Got me confused
Spinning, spinning, round and round
Sticky, sticky, off the ground
Slipping til you let me drown
Hate me then you love me now
Victoria sings the chorus of the song beautifully before proceeding to explain what she meant by the lyrics she wrote.
The song immediately begins with a question to really drive home the idea of confusion. I’m so confused that the only thing I can do, the only words I can muster are that of confusion. Spinning is to show the dizziness while the sticky metaphor is to show how the relationship and honestly, the entire situation is one that is very messy. Just like how it is very difficult to get a sticky substance off of you, it is very difficult to wrap your head around the relationship that I had with this person! Even though the relationship is confused, you’re stuck to the person.
You got me wondering where this going
Where the phone went, not who I'm in love with
You got me wondering why you roaming
Something to it (why why) but it ain't lil lonely
Victoria then sings the first verse of the song again before proceeding to explain the next part. So, this part of the song kind of shows the one piece of fact that you know about this entire mess, which is that while you have no idea what happened to the past relationship and what happened to the trust you’re supposed to have for one another, you do know that the relationship isn’t what it used to be. You had hope that the relationship would get better but you knew you would end up lonely. Even though this relationship is NOT good, the alternative is being alone and facing your own inner turmoil and so, the former is the lesser of two evils!

Victoria Monet x KIIS-FM
Victoria drops by KIIS-FM to discuss future musical plans and to hint at future releases!Victoria on a Sticky Remix
I talked about this a while ago but, yes, I do plan on releasing a Sticky Remix with a famous artist that y’all may or may not know! They liked the track and after they recorded their verse, it fit the song SOO nicely so we knew that it would be a perfect match. I plan on releasing it next week but I’m probably going to keep the artist a secret until right before it drops so I can keep y’all guessing and in anticipation
Victoria on Sticky Music Video and Future Musical Plans
The sticky video is going to come out tonight at 12am! Making the video is hands down one of the best moments of my entire career. I also plan on releasing the first bunch of Victoria Monet merch this week as well! I wanted to make sure the fashion was actually something I would want to wear outside and not just some collectible so I’ve been putting in lots of work into perfecting the shirts but I think that they’re finally ready to release. I worked on it with my team for a really long time and we spent lots of sleepless nights making sure they fit well and that there’s lots of sizes for all of my fans to be able to enjoy! There’s other types of merch outside of shirts but i’ll let you guys find those out when its finally released! Finally, I am happy to announce that I’m in the works for signing an agreement between a brand that is one that I think all of you know! I don’t want to spill who it is but my hint is to think about the title of my song and what it could apply to, and NO not in that way!
